Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) officials signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with their counterparts from Roberts International Airport in Liberia on Tuesday, Aug. 29. The agreement will allow both airports to share their expertise and experience while working to increase travel and trade. This is the fifth international MOU ATL officials have signed with sister airports and the second such agreement with an African airport.
In February, ATL signed a similar agreement with Airports Authority of Jamaica. In addition, ATL signed MOUs with leaders from Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) in Israel and Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport (SAL) in El Salvador in 2016 and Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ) in Cote
d’Ivoire in 2015.
The signing took place at the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
