The Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Liberia is hosting a Tax Awareness Road Show in Atlanta, Georgia, in collaboration with the Liberian Honorary Consul General, Cynthia Blandford Nash.

The objective is to inform Liberians and U.S businesses of various requirements and procedures in the Liberian tax system, reforms and modernization processes undertaken in both Customs and Internal Revenue procedures to enhance professional delivery of quality services, and tax incentives that are available to Liberians and US businesses operating abroad that intend to invest in Liberia.

The Embassy is encouraging Liberians living in the Diaspora to attend the conference and come ready to provide recommendations on various procedures and service delivery to further promote commerce and trade, facilitate payment of legitimate taxes due the government of Liberia, enhance revenue performance and ultimately balanced national development.
