Restoring Dignity to Women

Over the past three-years, The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter (The Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter) has been committed to providing resources and support to Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, President of Liberia and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia by supporting medical missions, medical supplies and equipment, doctors and nurses in an effort to help restore hope in this war-torn country.  As a former Vice President of the Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter, the Honorary Consul has provided leadership and support in launching this effort. The Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter and its partners are appealing to the donor community to assist in raising $200,000 to support this effort using PayPal at www.ncbw-metroatlchapter.org.  Thanks to a generous gift from Delta Air Lines, The Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter has been able to provide over 115 complimentary air line tickets to doctors, nurses, and friends of Liberia to include 10 medical and trade missions, in an effort to help Liberia.
